Clinical Medical Assistant (CCMA) - Evening

Begin Your Career as a Certified Clinical Medical Assistant

The CCMA course will prepare students to perform clinical and administrative tasks in various healthcare facilities. You will be trained to perform primary and advanced patient care including vital signs collection, venipuncture, specimen collection and processing, 12 lead EKG, telemetry monitoring, patient intake, scheduling, insurance billing and risk management.

Registration is open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm and closes 7 days before class starts. If the class reaches the size limit, registration may end sooner.

Program Details

It is encoruaged that you have a Georgia CNA license before attending this course (required for WIOA). Our CCMa includes training for Phlebotomy and EKG Tech. 

The total duration is 14 weeks. Schedule: Tuesday & Thursday 4pm-8pm

Clinicals

Clinical rotatins are offered, but not required to graduate from program. $200 clincial set up fee with minimum of 88 total hours for 2-4 days a week.

• TB results within 1 year (offered for $50 on first day of class if you need one)
• Working knowledge of computer
• Typing speed of 20+ wpm

Payment Information

Payment plan for private pay:

• $1,800 deposit at registration
• $485 due biweekly on week 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14

Completion & Testing Information

Once you have completed and passed the course, you are eligible to take the National Certification Exam for Phlebotomy ($235), EKG ($235), and CCMA ($245). Upon certification you can visit our career area that is updated every two weeks with recent job leads. We also review our graduate's resumes and give tips for applications.
