Program Overview
Quickly Become a Certified Nursing Assistant
A certified nursing assistant, or CNA, works under the supervision of nurses to deliver high-quality care to patients. The skills you learn as a certified nursing assistant can prepare you for a long-term career in the nursing field.
Registration is open Monday - Friday 10am - 4pm and closes 7 days before class starts. If the class reaches the size limit, registration may end sooner.
Program Details
This 92 hour program offers you an opportunity to become a Georgia State Approved Certified Nursing Assistant. You will attend through classroom instruction and lab practice with clinical training in premier nursing homes, assisted livings, or long-term care properties in Georgia.
The total duration is only 4 weeks. Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9am-2:30pm
Clinicals
Two days of clinicals are required towards the end of the program. Clinicals offer the students a chance to practice skills learned in the classroom at designated locations.
Clinicals are available Saturday & Sunday from 8:00am ~ 3:00pm.

- Criminal Background Check (can be done at your local police station)
- Immunization record to include Flu Vaccination
- TB results within 1 year (offered for $50 on first day of class if you need one)

Payment Information
Payment plan for private pay:
- $495 deposit at registration
- $250 on week 2
- $250 on week 4

Completion & Testing Information
Your certification exam is an additional fee of $130 paid to the state upon completion of your program. We are a State Approved Testing Site. Upon passing your CNA course, you qualify to take your certifiaction exam here at Cumberland Medical Institute.
